KinderCare Learning Center in Bristow offers high-quality daycare, child care, and early childhood education in a safe, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, create and grow.   • Shirl Vandiver

    Shirl became the director of the Gainesville KinderCare in July 2011. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Human Development from Radford University, with a concentration in Child Care Administration/Teaching. She has always enjoyed working with children, and considers it a privilege to be able to do what she loves every single day. She strives to provide a family atmosphere at KinderCare and wants to be sure that each family feels happy, relaxed, and secure. She has always lived locally, and is happily married with three boys.

  • Cindy Cronin

    Cindy has been with KinderCare since 1988. She earned her Child Development Associate Certification in 1997. Her experience as a teacher, assistant director, and district trainer has given her the opportunity to be a mentor to many staff throughout the years. She enjoys working with children and her joy is to see their smiles at the start and end of each day. She always has a welcoming smile and creates a happy, inviting atmosphere at the center for parents and children alike. She is happily married with two daughters, and four beautiful grandchildren.

  • Ms. Melanie

    Ms. Melanie has been with the Gainesville KinderCare since the opening of the center in 2005. She is a Lead Teacher in our Infant Room and loves being able to engage with the babies and their families everyday. Ms. Melanie has a passion for creating an enriched environment in which the babies can thrive. She always takes the time to make each family feel comfortable, especially the new parents dropping off their brand new babies for the first time. She loves making the Infant Room their home away from home. Ms. Melanie is happily married and has one son.

  • Ms. Andreina

    Ms. Andreina has been with the Gainesville KinderCare since 2006.  She is a Lead Teacher in our Infant/Toddler classroom and loves this stage in development.  She loves to transform her classroom into a different theme each month, and set up new play experiences for the Infants and Toddlers to explore freely.  She encourages each of her students at their own pace, and loves to watch them reach all of their developmental milestones.  Ms. Andreina his happily married and has two children of her own.

  • Ms. Ronee

    Ms. Ronee has been with the Gainesville KinderCare since 2007.  She is a Lead Teacher in our Discovery Preschool Classroom.  Ms. Ronee has a passion for teaching and loves to plan developmentally appropriate activities to meet the needs of the individual child.  She strives to discover the needs and interests of all the students, and often adjusts to ensure each child is having fun while learning without frustration.  She is married and has two daughters of her own.
